Job Description

What You'll Do :

-You will work directly with the consulting teams and in some situations, with the client in the capacity of a data analyst.
-You will provide data mining and analytical support on client engagements, including conducting analysis, building data intensive models/tools, summarizing and interpreting results.Day to day task may include building prototypes/tools like MS Excel/Excel VBA to support business decision making (optimization, scenario planning, reporting).
-You will also work on creating data dashboards, graphs and visualizations leveraging tools like MS Access/Tableau/SQL.
-You will actively participate in building team's strategy on knowledge and capability development,exploring wider horizons both internally and externally to expand the service offerings of the team.

Qualifications :

-Post-graduate OR Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related fields with an excellent academic record
-Previous work experience in building business algorithms/ scenario planners/simulation engines to solve business problems a must; experience using optimization techniques is preferred
-Experience of working with relational databases; ability to identify needed data elements to support reporting requests
-2-3 years of technical experience working with large datasets using Excel VBA/ MS Access,SQL Reporting Services 2005/2008, PL/SQL (Oracle/MySQL)
-Familiarity with core statistical concepts (e.g., correlation, regressions, confidence intervals, etc.) is good to have but not essential
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
-Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
-Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
