Job Description

Job Objective:

Assist the National Head Taxation and VP Taxation in managing the overall Compliance for IDT (GST) at the supervisory level .Interact with National FSS Managers on Compliance and lay forward all Technical analysis for GST information and co-ordinate with FSS on reporting requirement in law Litigation ,planning ,assisting Zones /Units in interpreting the law ,closure of litigation in erstwhile regime , and be an advisory specialist for all matters on Indirect Taxes for Zones allocated . Identify potential risk areas in new transactions and sanitize compliance
Be the specialist a professional resource in all formal interaction with the GST Department (SGST and CGST) and handle the SAP /Statutory information interaction for Taxes

Job Responsibilities:

- Be a part of Corporate Tax (IDT ) and assist National Head on GST and erstwhile laws Compliance

- Handholding of Zones/Units on GST Compliances

- Interpretation of Laws and presentation before all Quasi-Judicial authorities (under GST regime and erstwhile regime)

- Briefing Counsels on issues and presentation of Company matters

- Assist National Shared Services to understand requirements on Units on GST Compliances

- Handle Audit assessments , replying to queries and articulation of all policy matters before Statutory authorities

- Assisting in formulating policies for optimization of ITC and enhancement credit opportunities

- Co-ordinate and plan interaction with Financial Controller office on information relating to taxes from SAP and investigative reports to electronically advance compliance

Minimum Education: CA, ICWA ,Additional training based certification on SAP environment will be a definite advantage

Minimum Work Experience: 7 to 9 years experience in Taxation in a SAP environment in Medium to Large Consumer front ended companies

Business Knowledge: Understanding of FMCG sales and distribution and statutory compliances for taxation purpose
